Ron Asheton, RIP
As the original guitarist for the Stooges, he changed the sound of Rock & Roll and created the template for what became Punk, especially West Coast/LA Punk.
A crusty old geek rants and pontificates at length on many subjects, including Basketball, Guitars, Supercomputers, Politics, the Ruby programming language, California and Chicks who kick ass.
